Story Book Ranch is a privately owned and operated hunting ranch located just 8 miles east of Ludington, Michigan in Mason County. Ludington offers beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan and many other recreational activities for the whole family.

Accommodations can be made for hunters who are disabled and wish to hunt for any of these trophy animals. We feel that everyone should be able to enjoy the harvest of a great trophy.

Family and youth hunts are encouraged. The safety of this type of hunt will enhance the memorable experience your family and friends are sure to have.

All of the necessary documentation for transporting your trophy will be provided. Hunters can use the weapon of their choice. Two meals a day are provided. Lodging is available on the ranch or a variety of hotels are available in Ludington.

The ranch is open 7 days a week from September 15 to January 15. We suggest that you book your hunt early to secure your dates.

Note: All hunts require an advance reservation and a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. If you must cancel your hunt your deposit will be secured towards a new date or the following season. Balance is due before your hunt begins.

Pricing Information:

Management Hunts: $1,500. Management bucks have up to 8 points.

Classic Hunts: $2,000. These whitetail bucks score 120 to 130. The number of points may vary. However, they are sure to be a bragging piece.

Trophy Hunts: $2,800-$3,800. These beautiful bucks score between 131 to 150 points and will carry at least 10 points.

Magnum Hunts: $4,000 and up. These are the "Whitetail of your dreams". These bucks score 151 and up. Their points vary. These deer carry massive typical and non-typical racks.

Elk Hunts:
5*5 Elk $2,500.
6*6 Elk $2,800.
